14 months old

At this stage of life Tripp enjoys...
eating Cheerios or Goldfish (He likes Goldfish so much he claps after each bite.)

drinking through a straw

stacking blocks or cups

tearing down a tower of stacked blocks

putting toys on the coffee table just to sweep them off a few minutes later with his hands

pointing and saying, "D?"

watching the Nick Jr. channel on TV

throwing balls/rings...then walking to squat down, pick it up, and throw it all over again...a fun game until Annie gets involved and takes his ball.

walking and/or speed walking

giving/tossing toys to Annie

giving Annie his food when Will and I aren't looking

watching animals (birds, squirrels, etc.) outside

talking to us in his own baby language...his favorite "real" word is still book

reading his favorite book...Peek-a-Who? (a book his Aunt Heidi gave him for his birthday) We read this book at least 15 times a day and that's not an exaggeration!

going up to our "game" room to look at the fish turkeys, and all the deer. He can say "buck" and points to them.

A few recent pictures...
Tripp, Will, and Will's friend and college roommate, Greg. Greg and his girlfriend, Ashley, came for a quick visit on January 17th so they could meet Tripp and we could meet Ashley. They live near Miami, Florida so we aren't able to see much of each other. It was great to hang out with them if it was only for a day or two.

Playing the piano for the first time. I was showing him how to touch the keys. He loved that when you pressed a key it made a sound. He loved making music with me. I was sitting beside him but stepped out of the picture since I was in pj's. He would laugh when Will ran his fingers across the whole keyboard pressing each key. Maybe he'll want to really take lessons one day!

Daddy and Tripp...future hunting buddies. Both are all decked out in their Realtree camo and ready to go to the woods.
