We have had lots of fun this month. We had a family outing to a local pumpkin patch and corn maze "Corn Dawgs", carved pumpkins, went to Bert's pumpkin patch with the Travis ladies and Heidi, and just enjoyed having time together at home. Will has enjoyed a lot of time in the woods hunting and has killed a couple of deer this season already. One of those deer was a buck he'd been hunting hard since the beginning of the season. As for the little boys...John Brody is sleeping through the night, drinking 5 bottles, napping well during the day, and becoming more alert and playful each day. I love walking into his room to see him give me his biggest grin and kick his legs in excitement. Melts my heart! He's been good at going with the flow as we take him on our little outings. Tripp is all boy...loves running and playing outside but also loves to play inside with his dinosaur collection or games and apps on my iPad. School is going well for the most part. He has been getting into trouble for not listening to his teacher but we're working on getting better at that. He enjoys going to school and looks forward to it. He really enjoyed Corn Dawgs because he got to run in the mini-mazes, slide down the giant slides, ride the cow train, go on a hay ride, play in a massive box of corn, and more! He had a good time at Burt's Pumpkin Farm, too. He picked out a pumpkin, and took another hayride. Later he told me, "I LOVE hayrides." He's really looking forward to Halloween because he has a character parade at school and wants to trick or treat. He so excited to be dressing up as a triceratops this year. Heidi asked him last night if he had worn his costume yet and he told her, "It's not costume time yet." Pictures to come!
