GA/FL Weekend 2009
Halloween weekend Tripp took his first plane ride and didn't go Trick or Treating. Heidi, Tripp, and I left for Jacksonville on Friday morning via a Delta plane. He did great! While all of the passengers were boarding the plane Tripp enjoyed a snack of Puffs, played with his toys, and then sat back during take off (in my lap) and went to sleep. He slept the entire 50 minute flight. He didn't want to wake up once we landed. My parents picked us up at the airport and drove us all to St. Augustine where we would spend our weekend. Once we were at St. Augustine Beach we all were able to enjoy the very warm weather by sitting on the beach, taking a swim in the pool, and walking in the shallow waves. It was unbelievable weather! We were not used to being on the beach in swimsuits this late in October! Tripp got to inspect the sand, jump in the waves, and splash around in the pool in his new swim trunks his Nana had bought for next summer. They were a little long but still oh, so cute! He had a ball in the sand, waves, and pool! He held his hands out to the waves every time I would bring him back to where our chairs were sitting. He didn't want to leave the beach and let me (and anyone else who was around) know it to by crying very loudly. Nap time and getting a bath to wash off all the sand were not at the top of his "To Do List". The Dawgs lost the game but we still had a good time as a family (minus Will who was doing what he loves...hunting).
Puffs on the plane.
Happy Halloween! I had to cut the sleeves off because of the warm weather!

Tripp and Aunt Heidi watch the ducks swim in the lagoon.
